KayTran is a small business with a clear purpose: sunglasses and eyeglasses designed to fit Asian faces. When they took the brand on the road with a series of city pop-ups, I had the pleasure of customizing their new eyeglass cases for guests at their Calgary stop.
Each case was personalized by hand with a name or initials using calligraphy hot foiling, so every guest left with frames that fit and a case that was unmistakably theirs.
Why It Matters for a Small Business
A pop-up has only a few hours to make an impression. Live personalization gives guests a reason to stay, a reason to share, and something to carry every day with the brand's name on it.
It was a privilege to support a founder building something so considered. Working with small businesses is some of my favourite work, and I offer rates suited to smaller scale events.
